As much as possible we try to utilise recycled or re-purposed planters for our plants to reduce our impact on the environment. Once at their new home they can be replanted in any container you wish, however if you prefer that we deliver you plants in a more traditional plastic planter we can do this as well.

Yellow Bunny Ears Cactus Care

These cactuses are considered fairly easy to care for both inside and outdoors. This plant is healthier with access to full sun or in a partially shaded location.

The Yellow Bunny Ears Cactus requires minimal watering and is considered to be drought-tolerant. Be sure to allow the top inch of the soil or potting medium to dry out before watering in the warmer months. During its growth season, liquid fertilizer can be applied to the soil on a monthly basis.

The bunny ears cactus forms a dense shrub with green pad-like stems which grow in ear like pairs. It has no spines, but rather numerous yellow hair-like prickles in dense clusters.

The flowers emerge from the top edges of the pads in April and May.

It will do best when ambient temperatures are at 20°C.

This plant is safe for pets. It is not toxic, so your furry friends can safely play near this succulent.
