As much as possible we try to utilise recycled or re-purposed planters for our plants to reduce our impact on the environment. Silver Squill Care

Silver squill plants are considered particularly easy to care for both inside and outdoors. This plant is healthier with some access to indirect sunlight or in a partially shaded location.

The silver squill requires minimal watering and is considered to be drought-tolerant, much like succulents. Be sure to allow the top inch of the soil or potting medium to dry out before watering in the warmer months. The plant will be in its rest phase in the winter months, so you should water half as often.

The silver quill will grow best in rich soil, but it must be well-drained and will do best when ambient temperatures are at 20°C.

During its growth season, liquid fertilizer can be applied to the soil on a monthly basis.
