Lavender Scallops Care

These plants are considered fairly easy to care for both inside and outdoors. This plant is healthier with access to full sun or in a partially shaded location.

The Lavender Scallops plant is an evergreen succulent subshrub with flat, rounded, blue-green leaves. Paddle-shaped, the leaves are arranged oppositely and resemble clamshells. They are adorned with vibrant red-wine tips if grown in bright light.

These plants require minimal watering and is considered to be drought-tolerant. Be sure to allow the top inch of the soil or potting medium to dry out before watering in the warmer months. During its growth season, liquid fertilizer can be applied to the soil on a monthly basis. It will do best when ambient temperatures are at 20°C.

When flowering, stalks arise from its centre bearing clusters of rose-pink to red, nodding flowers.
